Padmashree Dr. D.Y. Patil, Former Governor of Tripura, West Bengal and Bihar, is a well known Educationist and Philanthropist from an agricultural town Kolhapur. He strongly believed that youth in India needed a greater platform that offers multiple opportunities to educate themselves across geography. He envisioned a goal of spreading education across the length and breadth of India and today Dr. D. Y. Patil has founded four State Private Universities, three Deemed Universities with more than 180 independent institutions in India. D. Y. Patil Group is a major educational organization mainly in the area of professional education, covering various disciplines of knowledge in Health Care, Architecture, Engineering & Technology and Management education. D. Y. Patil Education Society’s D. Y. College of Architecture, Talsande was established in June 2018. It is approved by Council of Architecture, New Delhi; recognized by Govt. of Maharashtra, DTE Mumbai and affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur. The intake capacity of college is 40 students. Even within the span of two years, D Y. Patil College of Architecture, Talsande has shown its potential and spark.. |
